Friday Night Lights
School is back and that means Friday nights across South Carolina will be filled with football and fellowship. If that's where the people are, that's where H is for Hiring needs to be to help influence tomorrow's healthcare heroes.
As a community anchor and often the largest employer in your region, many of you already have standing partnerships with your local high school athletic programs and advertise on the walls of their fields and stadiums. But have you advertised with the team? Now is your chance with a custom breakaway H is for Heroes banner to show students and your community that great jobs are available now in your organization.
Recruiting the next generation of healthcare leaders is like recruiting players to a championship football team -- clear eyes, full hearts, can't lose. Or as the H is for Hiring tagline states: Great Pay. Great Career. Great Life.
If you're interested in ordering a banner for your local team, just reach out to Tim Floyd with Solvent Brandworks to get the ball moving. And learn how to become a team player at H-isforhiring.com.
Back to School Events
This is a great time to start reviewing the calendars of your local education community to identify opportunities to showcase the H is for Hiring brand and recruit the next generation of healthcare heroes:
The South Carolina Department of Education School Directory map can help you locate public schools in your region so you can access their calendar of events and any recruitment opportunities.
The SC Technical College System Directory map helps identify all of the technical colleges in your region so you can reserach the programs they offer and better align your pipeline efforts.
The SC.GOV Colleges and Universities List links to the websites of all of South Carolina's providers of higher education so you can identify back-to-school career fairs and recruiting events.
As workforce continues to be a major priority for you, H is for Hiring can serve as YOUR platform to share your critical staffing needs and help build the workforce of the future. The Hospital Toolkit is being updated regularly with fresh resources and the SCHA Communications Team and Solvent Brandworks are on standby to help assist with additional support and resources.
We are grateful to all of the hospitals that have opted to participate in the campaign, and if you are still considering it and would like to learn more, please contact Lara Hewitt at lhewitt@scha.org or 803-744-3518.
